The Meditation Garden
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him and bless His name.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life;
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
1 Corinthians 13:1
If I speak in the tongues of men or angels, but do not have love,
then I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
The words of a man’s mouth are deep waters; the wellspring of wisdom is a flowing brook.
Hope deferred makes a heart sick; but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; I do not give to you as the world gives.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
